By engaging our business, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. We strive to provide excellent customer service, and we will work with you to address and issues or concerns that may arise. Your satisfaction is our top priority.


Personalized/Custom Items


Once production has started, changes or cancellations are not allowed and may incur a cancellation fee, the amount of which will vary depending on the progress of production. Custom items are non-refundable, but if there are any issues with your order, please reach out to us immediately.

Digital Proofs

With each order, you'll receive one complimentary proof of your requested design. We also offer one complimentary minor adjustment or change per item. If you require additional proofs, a design fee of $5 per proof will apply. Once you approve the digital proof, we will produce your custom order accordingly. Any changes made after approval will be subject to a reprinting or design fee. Please carefully review the proof to identify any errors like typos, misspellings, or incorrect dates during the proofing process. Digital proof approval is required before we proceed to production.

Formatting Fees

We offer you the option to submit your own artwork for your order. However, in certain cases, we may need to provide additional services to convert or create the design in a suitable format to be transferred over to your desired medium. A separate (re)design fee may be charged based on the complexity and intricacy of the design requested. These fees are subject to customer quote and approval. We will not begin work on the order until these fees are discussed with you. Once we receive confirmation to proceed with the order, even if the order is still in the design stage, refunds may not be given upon cancellation of the order. Please note that the additional fees for artwork design and formatting are separate from the engraving and material charges. We strive to ensure that the final engraving is of the highest quality, and these additional services help us achieve that standard.



For non-personalized items:

You have 7 days from receiving the merchandise to initiate a return or exchange. The item(s) must be unused and undamaged, and you will be responsible for the return shipping cost. Once we have received the item(s), we will process a refund, deducting the original shipping costs.

For peronalized/custom items:

All custom orders are final due to their unique nature. Please see the Custom Order Terms below for more information.


If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We understand that circumstances can change, and we will do our best to accommodate your cancellation request. If the design process has not begun, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund. However, if the design process has already commenced, we may not be able to cancel your order. In such cases, we will discuss the options available to find a suitable resolution.

Defective Items

If you receive a defective item, contact us with your order number and a photo of the defect. We will assist you with replacement options. Replacements will follow our standard productions time, but if you need expedited production or shipping, additional fees may apply.

Rush Orders

If you require expedited services, we offer rush orders for an additional fee. Please contact us before placing your order and provide your preferred "need by" date. Keep in mind that production time may change depending on proof approval and any necessary adjustments.

Late Delivery

While we strive to deliver your orders on time, we cannot be held responsible for any delays during transit or weather-related issues caused by the carrier. Custom orders will remain final sale in such cases.


Warranty Disclaimer

Please be aware that the services offered by Artisan Custom Makes could potentially affect the warranties provided by the manufacturers and/or retailers of the products involved. It is the responsibility of the customer to refer directly to the warranty terms provided by the relevant manufacturer or retailer. Artisan Custom Makes shall not be held liable if the services provided result in any limitations or voiding of the manufacturer's, retailer's or other warranties.

Rights of Protection

For any materials provided by the customer containing logos, emblems, trademarks, copyrights, patents, or similar rights of protection, it is agreed and understood that Artisan Custom Makes shall act as the customer's agent for the use of such material. The customer, as the principal, assumes responsibility to comply with all applicable laws concerning copyright, trademark, patent, right of privacy, licensing, or any similar rights of protection. The customer shall indemnify and hold harmless Artisan Custom Makes and its agents from any suits, claims, or actions arising due to the use of said material in accordance with the customer's directions. These matters fall within the scope of the aforementioned agency relationship.

Logos and trademarks displayed by Artisan Custom Makes are used solely for representation purposes of the products and our ability to decorate them. It is not intended to imply that the decorations were created by our company or that the products with specific decorations are available for purchase without the consent of the owners of the trademarked or copyrighted art or copy. The display of trademarks and logos does not indicate endorsement of our products by their respective owners.

Please note that Artisan Custom Makes reserves the right to utilize all supplied artwork in our displays and advertising, unless we receive written notification at the time the order is placed indicating otherwise.
